Summary: We were so looking forward to our stay, but there were some key reasons we chose this hotel over others and were left disappointed. We knew it was going to be very hot while we were in Amsterdam so we made sure to select a hotel with air conditioning. Unfortunately it didn’t work the entire time we were there. Our room at one point was 26 degrees Celsius. We were able to switch rooms but still had the same problem and then in our new room we couldn’t change the shower temperature and the tablet for the tv didnt work either. The staff offered a fan, but then nothing came. My husband checked with them again and they said all the fans had already been given out to other guests. We were also expecting there to be laundry facilities onsite as per the list of amenities and that was false. They work with a laundry service that picks up your laundry and then brings it back. The timing of that wouldn’t work for us. Overall we were left disappointed. The staff were the only good thing about our stay
